is a Deep Autumn.

Deep Autumn needs warm, deep, and rich all at once, and Madison's red-carpet history keeps proving she has all three. The wine mini dress she wore to the Spider-Man: No Way Home premiere is the cleanest evidence on file, a color that swallows most fair complexions, and on her it read as an extension of her own depth, hair and dress and eyes all in one continuous register while her skin did the glowing. The dark moss-green gown at the 2021 Met Gala worked the same trick from the green side: deep and earthy enough to match her value, warm enough not to fight her gold. Put her in metallic antique gold and the effect turns literal, the fabric picks up the amber in her eyes and the whole face switches on. Even her off-duty burnt orange reads intentional on her, a shade most people quarantine to autumn accessories. The pattern across all of it: pigment-heavy, warm, low-brightness color makes her look expensive; her features stay the loudest thing in frame. That's the Deep Autumn contract.

Soft Autumn is the lazy call, warm, brunette, tan, done. But Soft Autumn is a muted season, built for coloring with grey dust in it, and there is nothing dusty about Madison. Her eyes are clear amber, her hair is saturated chestnut, and her contrast between hair and skin is genuinely high; put her in Soft Autumn's sage and mushroom and she doesn't harmonize, she disappears, the colors sit under her voltage and drag her down with them. She needs pigment at full strength. Deep Winter is the more serious argument, because the depth and contrast are Winter-grade: near-black hair, strong value gap, no trouble carrying dark color. But Winter runs cool, and Madison fails the temperature test immediately. True black makes her jaw hard and her skin faintly grey; icy pink and cool crimson turn the tan sallow instead of golden. Swap black for soft black-brown or espresso and the harshness vanishes, that swap only works on a warm face. Deep and warm, not deep and cool, not warm and muted. Deep Autumn.
