Color analysis glossary
What is skin undertone?
Skin undertone is the subtle hue beneath the surface of your skin — warm (golden/peach), cool (pink/blue), or neutral — and it's the single most important factor in color analysis.

Undertone is different from skin tone (how light or deep you are). Two people with the same depth can have opposite undertones. Warm undertones glow against gold; cool undertones glow against silver. Neutral undertones sit between.
Quick tests: check whether gold or silver jewelry flatters you more, or whether you look better in cream or pure white. Warm skin suits cream and gold; cool skin suits white and silver. Undertone sets the warm/cool axis of your color season.
